Served as sole back-up to General Counsel at Cardtronics for 5 months and returned for a second stint three years later. Negotiated complex ATM sponsorship agreements with banks and ATM placement agreements with retailers, vendor agreements, office leases, hardware and software licenses, advertising agreements.
Served as sole back-up to General Counsel in two stints at U.S. Concrete for 7 months. Negotiated and drafted construction subcontracts, vendor/supplier and confidentiality agreements. Drafted agreement for acquisition.
Negotiated and documented connection agreements for Kinder Morgan, Enterprise and Teppco. Drafted definitive agreements for pipeline interconnects that included a multitude of subcontracts for labor and materials.

Served as lead counsel for procurement of patented technology for Greenfield project for Westlake. Sent to London repeatedly to negotiate and draft license agreements for a refinery construction project in Saudi Arabia.

Formulated and negotiated deals realizing 40% more revenue from asset sales than predicted for Equilon.
Planned scheme of service and supply agreements to support Motiva and Equilon. Constructed and implemented
over 100 contracts to furnish materials, know-how and staffing to help operate new Texaco/Shell joint ventures.
Preserved relationship between Mario Andretti and Texaco. Devised creative solution to a complex dispute with Mario Andretti and reached settlements with 11 dealers whose stations were conveyed in the $9 million transaction.
